My name is Mikael Öhlund. I was born 24 years ago in Stockholm , which is as well my current residence.

I liked dinosaurs a lot , so that is what I started with - together with my never ending imagination which I've kept until now.

Ever since I can remember I was attracted to art in some way.
As a young boy that attraction reflecting mostly in me being attached to comic books.

But seeing art wasn't enough. I felt the need to create it.

From there my art road lead me to horror and futuristic themes. This was still all done as traditional art , which is still one
of my most loved art mediums.

Then I discovered photoshop. A full new playground to explore. Photoshop and I cooperated pretty well from the start and I enjoyed it a lot , still do.

Art is not only a hobby to me. It's my passion. I'm in it with my full heart.
Traveling to many beautiful places has given me a lot of inspiration for my art works.
Also receiving requests from friends, and art appreciaters and their ideas and opinions helped me to develop further and further.

I am still young , and I don't know yet where my way will lead me, but art will always be a part of my life and me,
and I hope I can show in my work how much I am dedicated to it , because I truely am.
